Oscarcast taps new talent producer

A brand new face continues to be put into the 84th Oscars telecast, based on producers Brett Ratner and Don Mischer. Melissa Watkins Trueblood, that has also done the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy telecasts, continues to be named talent producer for that show. "Because the latest addition to the team, Melissa brings an abundance of experience and many years of great talent associations towards the table," Ratner and Mischer stated. "We all know she'll be considered a fantastic resource."Additionally, telecast veteran Danette Herman has signed on as talking to producer for that 84th and 85th shows."Danette continues to be an intrinsic and committed Oscar presence for well 38 years," stated Academy prez Tom Sherak.
